How much does a tax return cost?

Our standard returns for most taxpayers start from $160

We offer a New Client rate of $120 for the first return as a new client

We also offer an Under 21 years of age rate of $79

When will my return be lodged?

We aim to review and lodge most tax returns within 24 hours of your appointment, however during busy periods, lodgment may be delayed by up to 5 business days.

All tax returns must be signed by the taxpayer and lodgment fees paid prior to lodgment.
 

How long does it take to get my refund?

The ATO starts processing tax returns around the 14th of July. Processing times can vary from 7 to 28 business days, though most returns are processed within 2 weeks. If you have paid up front the ATO will send your refund directly to you

If using our Fee from Refund service, there may be a delay of up to 72 hours in processing your refund once received by Anytime Tax, though generally we aim to process them the day we receive the refund from the ATO.

Can everything be done online?

Absolutely. We provide a secure online portal where you can upload your documents and track your progress. This allows us to work with you at your convenience, anytime, anywhere.

Documentation may also be supplied via email.

What documents do I need?

It is important to bring any relevant receipts, logs or records for any deductions you would like to claim.

 

For first time clients, you must also bring a Photo ID and your Tax File Number to your appointment, if they were not already verified during the booking process.
